Privacy Policy
Who we are
Verbillio is an iPhone app for recording billable time. In this policy, "we" means the developer of Verbillio. Questions go to netbooee+verbillio@gmail.com.
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you create in Verbillio is stored in the app's protected storage on your iPhone, encrypted by iOS while your phone is locked. That includes:
- Clients and matters, including client-matter numbers, nicknames and billing-code settings.
- Time entries: dates, hours, narratives and task and activity codes.
- Dictation audio and its transcript. Audio is deleted once its entries are approved, exported or dismissed, unless you turn on "Keep recordings".
- Places you've stopped (if you turn places on) and places you've saved.
- Your settings.
This data is excluded from iCloud and computer backups, so it isn't copied off the device. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Delete all data, deletes it permanently. We have no copy to restore.
How the app's features use your data

What we collect
Nothing. Verbillio contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, and it doesn't send your data to us or to anyone else.
Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics if you've chosen to share them with app developers in your iPhone's settings (Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements). Those reports don't include your entries. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Apple's services
When you use Apple Maps through Verbillio, or buy the app from the App Store, Apple's privacy policy applies to the data Apple receives: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Your choices
- Every permission (microphone, speech recognition, calendar, location, notifications) is optional and can be changed in the iPhone Settings app.
- Settings › Places › Delete location history removes all recorded stops.
- Settings › Delete all data removes everything Verbillio has stored.
Children
Verbillio is a professional tool for lawyers and isn't directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects what data leaves your iPhone, the app will tell you before it happens.
